Wedding Albums by Ginny Marsh Photography

So, I’ve photographed your wedding and sent you the login details so you can see your fabulous wedding images in your online gallery (yay!)… What now?

Ultimately I believe your images should be displayed in a fabulous album or on the wall!

Whether you’ve already paid for an album with your wedding package, or would now like to buy a wedding album after your wedding, it’s a fantastic way to display your images and pass down generations to your children and grandchildren. You may have a digital frame displaying all your images, but technology will only be replaced and upgraded in years to come and there’s always a chance your digital files will either be lost or become obsolete.

Luckily I have a range of wedding albums available that suit most styles and budgets!

Wedding Albums – how to choose and what to do:

First you’ll need to select your favourite images for your wedding album!

Here’s what I need to design your album:

All my albums come with 40 pages and 100 images included. This is the amount that I believe can easily tell the story of your day and display the best highlights of your wedding. Extra images and pages can always be added though.

You will need to select your favourite images in your gallery by clicking on the star icon next to any image you’d like to include in your album. Once you’ve selected all your favourites, go to the favourites tab at the top – there may be more than 100 in there! You can then un-favourite any you don’t mind missing out, especially if you’ve got some very similar, to whittle it down to 100. Alternatively, we can always add extra pages if you can’t narrow it down!

Main bits I need:

  • Your selection of 100 images
  • Which album you’d like (if not paid for already, or if you’d like to upgrade)
  • Which image (if any) you’d like on the front cover
  • Which material you’d like either on the cover or spine
  • If you’d like text on the front cover and how you’d like it to appear*, e.g. your names and then the date underneath? *Please note there may be an extra charge for this, depending on which album you choose, and this option isn’t available on every album.

Here’s all the info you need for each of my three different albums… please go to the details of the album you’ve already chosen, or you are welcome to upgrade to a different one!

There are 3 different wedding albums for different styles and budgets…

Finao Albums

The funky album

Starting from £400, the Finao Playbook is the least expensive option. Finao albums come all the way from America and are great if you’d like something a bit quirky and different! There are a wide range of different funky cover options including brocade fabric, snakeskin textures, big & bold patterns, and different coloured linens.
The Finao One wedding album (from £550) combines that extra bit of luxury with high quality materials, and combines custom craftsmanship and handmade details with on-trend, fashion- forward looks. It’s your book, done your way. Loads of upgraded cover designs, finabulicious leathers, thicker pages, distinctive fabrics and specialty covers.

The page layouts are more clear, clean and simple.

Why not upgrade to the Finao ONE wedding album at £550?

This is a higher quality album, which is a lot thicker and heavier, and has more cover options, including the genuine leather range.

GraphiStudio Albums

The classic album

Starting from £495 the GraphiStudio albums are handmade in Italy and have a lifetime guarantee on the spine, meaning if a page comes loose no matter how many years later, it can be sent back to the manufacturer and repaired free of charge.

These albums come with a choice of smooth or photographic paper, and either hardback, clear Perspex, or leatherette cover.

These albums have a modern magazine style layout designed by me, with images directly printed on the page. There is more I can do with the GraphiSoftware, in terms of artistic page layout – I can have images behind other images, even some fading out into others!

Additions or changes can be made including metallic paper, extra pages, alternative cover materials, such as leather or acrylic, and slipcases for that extra bit of luxury and protection.

SIM Imaging Matted Album

The traditional album with a modern twist

Starting at £620 these albums are not a budget option, but are just pure class! The Matted album offers the best of both worlds, combining the full flush mounted edge-to-edge pages of the Classic album, with traditional bevel-cut apertures. This album has four different mount options and a full choice of covers. Smaller duplicates can be produced from the same artwork, on either photographic or printed paper. All Matted albums come presented in a drawstring bag & gift box.

Remember, the main bits I need are:

  • Your selection of 100 images
  • Which album you’d like (if not paid for already, or if you’d like to upgrade)
  • Which image (if any) you’d like on the front cover
  • Which material you’d like either on the cover or spine
  • If you’d like text on the front cover and how you’d like it to appear*, e.g. your names and then the date underneath? *Please note there may be an extra charge for this, depending on which album you choose, and this option isn’t available on every album.

What’s Next?

Once I’ve got all this info, I’ll get started designing your album! I’ll design the page layout depending on how I think it flows best and tells the story of your wedding. When I’ve finished, I’ll e-mail you a link to the design, and you can approve it or tell me if you’d like to make any changes. It’s your album and I want to make sure you’re 100% happy with how it looks. Once it’s all approved it can be sent off to print and can take between 2-6 weeks depending on the manufacturer and time of year.

I will let you know when your album has arrived and is ready to collect from me in Farnham, GU9 0PX. If you’d like me to post it via Royal Mail Special Delivery or ParcelForce there will be a postage charge – please ask!

To see the options in person, please arrange an album meeting with me, or come and see me at one of the wedding fairs I’m attending, to see the full range.

Many thanks, if I’ve missed any info or if you’d like to know anything else just ask!
